Foundation Administrator Visits the USA

13 décembre 2025

From 7 to 11 December, Monsignor Dariusz Giers, the administrator of our Foundation, visited the United States. He first travelled to Cleveland at the invitation of Father Eric Orzech, long‑time president and guardian of the Circle of Friends of the Foundation in Ohio. As part of Advent retreats, he visited the Polish parishes of St. Stanislaus BM, St. Barbara, St. Casimir, St. John Cantius, and Immaculate Heart of Mary. In each of them, he delivered retreat teachings.

At St. Barbara’s Church, he met with the Bishop of the Diocese of Cleveland, Edward Malesic, who presided over the celebrations marking the 120th anniversary of the parish. He also took part in the parish St. Nicholas gathering and visited the Polish‑American John Paul II Cultural Center, directed by Edward Bąk, a highly distinguished figure within the Polish community.

A meeting was also held with the current president of the Circle of Friends of the Foundation in Ohio, Anthony Togliatti, during which future joint initiatives were discussed.

From Cleveland, the administrator travelled to Buffalo to visit a long‑time friend and benefactor of our Foundation, Father Michael Parker, pastor of St. John the Baptist Parish. Once again, Father Parker supported the Foundation—so dear to his heart—with a donation for the Commemorative Plaque marking the upcoming 45th anniversary.

The stay in Cleveland became an opportunity to strengthen ties with the local Polish community and the Circle of Friends of the Foundation.
